Ebony is what some might call a 'Fallen Woman'. The Male Lead is a Duke and Prince, Dante. Currently on Hiatus to prepare for Season 2. To address some other comments: A lot of the development for Ebony comes later in the season. There is a brewing conflict at the end of season 2 and, the cliffhanger is driving me insane. Dante is a perfect male lead and, having Juro as the passive second love interest completes the triangle. But, I was sold with how the author wrote it in a way that it was not rushed nor forced. In all honesty, I was kind of afraid that a romance between Dante and Ebony would ruin the plot. It also feels satisfying to witness a resolution to all of the injustices she went through. It is heartwarming to see her character grow alongside people who support her. I also love that Ebony's character started as a hopeless female lead because it was more realistic compared to being a strong heroine from the very beginning. I also love how the trauma and abuse that Ebony went through were well-portrayed contrary to most manhwa adaptations lacking in setting and the build-up. The fact that this has an actual, solid, fleshed-out plot makes it one of my favorite. It is a revenge story that tackles issues and injustices such as patriarchy, corruption, and gender politics. 'Ebony' is a manhwa about Ebony Vonieck, a convicted felon accused of murdering his fiance and father.
